This looping videowork is composed of self shot footage documenting every cigarette the artist rolled from February – April of 2021. The video captures the ambient environment that surrounded each act of rolling, with audio recorded at the time of filming forming a quotidian soundtrack for the work, and functions as a document of life under corona restrictions, tracing the sites a body had access to, and the social conditions of the time, through a repetitive daily gesture.

The work was installed in the designated smoking area at Kunsthøyskolen i Oslo during the 2021 MFA exhibition Drifting Matters.
